Hello, my name is...

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am 26 years old. I am mother to my precious son Ethan who just turned two and wife to Thomas, my wonderful husband. I created this blog for several reasons. I believe I have much to offer other mothers in the same situation in life (wife, mother, caregiver, etc...). I say this with humility as I have much to learn however if I could be of any help to any one individual, then that would be reason enough to start jotting down thoughts and ideas of how to create families that aren't just making it but are actually thriving! Being a mother has taught me so many things and most of which are things about myself. I have been refined as an individual. What do I mean by this you might ask? As I have become wife and mother, I have entered a process of slowly removing unwanted and unappealing aspects or characteristics of my life eg raising a toddler has taught me patience and diligence and being a wife has taught me to be selfless and more compassionate. These are few of many life lessons that I have already begun to learn. I also created a blog for myself. I love to write and share thoughts and I love to look back and see how much I have changed and grown. I would hope that in ten years I could look back and see how much I have learned and that I have made a genuine effort to love and nurture my family. What better way to document all of this than in a blog. My posts will be short. I am a simple person, not one with fancy words and vocabulary. My posts will be unique every time ranging from a quick healthy recipe to an insight that I had on something that helped me understand my husband better. I will write personal thoughts, ideas, and practical advice. There is no end to the possibilities but they all will have one thing in common. They will be posts that help women be fulfilled and thrive in their role of wives and mothers. I am excited as to where this journey might take myself.
